Distance contracts are governed by Legislative Decree no. 185 of 22/05/1999, which also regulates the sale of products via the Internet.
This law regulates the right of withdrawal, meaning the possibility for the customer, as a natural person (consumer), to return the purchased product and obtain a refund.
This right cannot be exercised by legal entities or by individuals acting for purposes related to their professional activity.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, the customer must send a written communication to the supplier by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt or other written form (fax, email), provided that it is confirmed by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt within the following 48 hours, all within 10 working days from receipt of the goods.
Please note that when the purchase of a product is combined with another product offered as a gift or included free of charge, the right of withdrawal will be validly exercised only with the return of both products included in the purchase, given the accessory nature of the promotional item in relation to the main product.
Only the shipping costs for returning the product will be borne by the Customer.
The right of withdrawal cannot be exercised if the returned product is not intact, and more specifically if one or more of the following situations occur:
- Missing original packaging.
- Absence of one or more elements/components belonging to the product.
- Damage or tampering with the product.
- Opening of products originally sealed.
If a Customer has purchased from our A.D.O. Medical “e-commerce” website and wishes to exercise the right of withdrawal, they must proceed as follows:
- Notify A.D.O. Medical by telephone at: 051.302471 or by sending an email to info@adomedical.it, indicating the invoice issue date, invoice number, and the code and/or description of the product(s) to be returned, whether in case of partial or total return.
- Send to A.D.O. Medical a registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt (within 10 working days from receipt of the goods), containing a written and signed declaration stating the intention to exercise the right of withdrawal and summarising all the data indicated above, to: A.D.O. Medical srl, Via del Tipografo, 2/2 - 40138 Bologna (BO)
- Carefully pack the product and ship it using a courier of your choice. The product must be packed in its original packaging and include all accessories, instruction manuals and all items originally supplied. A copy of the purchase invoice must also be enclosed. In case of return, to avoid damage to the original packaging it is recommended to place it inside a second box for shipment.
- Ship the product to the address: A.D.O. Medical srl, Via del Tipografo, 2/2 - 40138 Bologna (BO) - Reason: RETURNED GOODS
Please note that shipping costs related to the return of goods will not be refunded.
A.D.O. Medical will not accept parcels sent CASH ON DELIVERY or with CARRIAGE FORWARD.
If the returned product has not been insured for the value indicated on the invoice, in the event of damage or loss during transport, A.D.O. Medical reserves the right to charge any damages incurred by deducting them from the amount to be refunded or requesting them directly from the buyer.
A.D.O. Medical will issue the relevant credit note for the returned goods, net of shipping costs, within 30 working days after receiving the returned goods (Art. 6 of Legislative Decree no.185/1999).
The credit note will be refunded by bank transfer; therefore the Customer must provide A.D.O. Medical with their bank details and corresponding IBAN.
