The Neutral Electrode Connection Cable is an accessory designed for connecting compatible disposable neutral electrodes, for use with high-frequency electrosurgical devices.

It is intended for temporary use in surgical procedures where cutting and/or coagulation of soft tissue is required, using either monopolar or bipolar technique. It can be used in minor or major surgery, including open surgery, laparoscopy and endoscopy, according to the instructions of the device being used.

Warning for use:

To reduce the risk of accidental burns, the product must be used exclusively with electrosurgical units and accessories that comply with current regulations.

Before using the electrosurgical unit and its accessories, it is necessary to consult the instructions for each individual component. Avoid direct contact between the cables and the patient’s skin: a capacitive effect could cause burns.

When removing the cable, do not pull directly on it; act on the connector instead. In the event of a serious incident related to the device, the user must report it to the manufacturer and to the competent authority of the Member State in which they are established.

Cleaning:

Wash with running water immediately after the procedure, then immerse for approximately 45 minutes in a 2% solution of a standard disinfectant product.
