Binocular Design with WF10x/18mm Eyepieces

The EX5B features a 30° inclined Siedentopf binocular head, offering optimal ergonomics during observation. The WF10x/18mm eyepieces provide clear, precise vision with a wide field of view for detailed sample observation. The interpupillary distance (50–75 mm) can be adjusted for personalized viewing.

Advanced Focusing System

Equipped with coaxial coarse and fine focusing, the microscope allows quick and precise adjustments. The focusing friction includes a 0.002 mm microdivision, providing high control and accurate focus even on microscopic objects. The focus knob is easily adjustable via the friction system for a smooth, comfortable experience.

High-Quality Optics: DIN 160mm Achromatic Objectives

Abbe Condenser with Iris Diaphragm

The microscope features an Abbe condenser (A.N. 1.25) for precise light adjustment, producing high-resolution images. The iris diaphragm and filter holder allow control over light intensity and contrast, with height adjustment via rack-and-pinion. Ø32 mm filters are easily interchangeable.

Adjustable 3W LED Illumination

The 3W LED system ensures optimal visibility in all lighting conditions. The light intensity is fully adjustable to suit the sample type, and the illumination is centerable for uniform lighting across the specimen.

Constructed entirely from aluminum, the EX5B provides durability and stability. An ergonomic rear handle facilitates transport and positioning, and the 4-position objective turret with click-stop allows easy lens changes without damaging the instrument.

The dual-layer stage (140x132 mm) allows fast, precise sample movement. The side guide and 0.1 mm precision ensure perfect alignment, and the stage height adjustment screw prevents accidental slide damage, enhancing safety and lifespan.
