The foldable electric wheelchair Escape DX, part of the Ardea Mobility range by Moretti, is a medical device designed to provide autonomy, practicality, and safety for people with mobility difficulties, the elderly, or temporarily immobilized users. Thanks to its compact and technological design, this electric wheelchair is an ideal choice for those seeking a reliable means of transportation, usable both indoors and outdoors, without sacrificing comfort and ease of use.

Equipped with a high-strength aluminum foldable frame, the Escape DX stands out for its lightweight yet sturdy structure, allowing it to be quickly folded for transport or storage in small spaces, such as the trunk of a car.

Optimal comfort for daily use

The seat and backrest of the wheelchair are made of durable and breathable black nylon, with an integrated cushion 5 cm thick, ideal for ensuring comfort even after hours of use. A safety belt is included, which helps maintain a stable and correct posture during movements.

The armrests are height-adjustable, foldable, and removable, to facilitate lateral transfer operations, even in tight spaces. The adjustable footrests are equipped with heel straps to enhance stability and safety for the person during movement.

Enhanced safety with integrated lights

One of the distinctive features of the Escape DX electric wheelchair is the presence of integrated lights, available in one of the model versions. These LED lights significantly improve visibility in low-light conditions, making evening or dark environment movements safer for both the user and their companion.

Additionally, the anti-tip rear wheels increase stability during climbs or sudden stops, reducing the risk of tipping backward.

Intuitive joystick and high performance

The electronic control of the wheelchair is done via a sensitive and precise joystick, mountable on either the right or left side, depending on the user's needs. The 50 Amp VRI controller allows for a smooth, responsive, and customizable driving experience, suitable even for people with reduced hand mobility.

The Escape DX is available in two seat width variants:
41 cm wide, for slimmer builds
46 cm wide, for users with a wider build
The weight without the battery is 38 kg, while the closed lateral dimension is only 42 cm, perfect for easy storage in a car or tight spaces. With a maximum load capacity of 135 kg, the wheelchair is suitable for a wide range of users.
