The foldable electric wheelchair Escape DX, part of the Ardea Mobility line from the Moretti brand, represents a modern and reliable solution for supporting the mobility of elderly individuals or those with motor disabilities. Designed for those who need a practical, safe, and high-performance aid, it combines a robust structure, ease of use, and great autonomy, ensuring a comfortable driving experience both indoors and outdoors.

Equipped with a foldable aluminum frame, the Escape DX is easy to fold and transport. The use of durable and lightweight materials makes it manageable without compromising the solidity of the structure. The chair stands out for its attention to comfort: the backrest and seat are made of high-quality black nylon, with a 5 cm padded cushion integrated into the seat, ideal for long uses. The presence of a safety belt helps maintain proper posture and reduces the risk of slipping.

Customizable comfort and safety

Among the main features of the Escape DX wheelchair are the height-adjustable armrests, which are foldable and removable, facilitating lateral transfer operations and increasing accessibility. The footrests are also adjustable in length and equipped with heel straps for greater stability and safety during movement. An additional safety element is represented by the anti-tip rear wheels, designed to prevent dangerous backward tipping, especially on inclines or during sudden stops.

The control of the wheelchair is done via a sensitive and intuitive joystick, adjustable in depth and installable on either the right or left side, depending on the user's preference. The 50 Amp VRI electronic controller ensures a smooth response to commands, enhancing the driving experience.

High performance and long autonomy

From a technical standpoint, the Escape DX is equipped with two 200W motors, with a maximum speed of 6 km/h, and maintains excellent performance even on slopes of up to 10%, while the safety slope is 8°. It can easily overcome small obstacles such as steps up to 5 cm high.

The wheelchair is powered by two 12V 36Ah batteries, ensuring a driving range of up to 32 km on a single charge. Charging is done via a simple-to-use external 5A charger, even for less experienced users.

Versatile design for every need

The Escape DX is available in two seat width versions: 41 cm and 46 cm, to accommodate different physical conformations. The maximum width is 58 cm for the 41 cm seat and 63 cm for the 46 cm seat. When folded, the wheelchair reaches a side width of only 42 cm, allowing for easy storage and transport even in cars or tight spaces.

With a maximum load capacity of 135 kg, this wheelchair is suitable for a wide range of users. It is also available in a version with integrated lights, ideal for those who wish to move safely even in low visibility conditions.
