Cleaning and disinfection

Manual treatment:

  • Disinfection by immersion and cleaning with brush
  • Chemical disinfection: 15 minutes with Stabimed 2% solution
  • Drying: not applicable

Mechanical treatment:

  • Mechanical alkaline cleaning with thermal disinfection
  • Thermal disinfection: 90°C for 5 minutes
  • Drying according to the program of the thermal disinfector (Digit 4 RDS Material)

Sterilization

Validated steam process:

  • Fractionated vacuum at 134°C
  • Holding time: 5 minutes

Technical note:

To prevent corrosion from friction, articulated instruments or those with metal surfaces subject to rubbing must be lubricated before each sterilization cycle.
