The special blunt flat tip allows for atraumatic action, particularly suitable for undermining techniques in plastic and reconstructive surgery. The curvature facilitates access to deep anatomical planes and improves control during dissection.

Cleaning and disinfection

Manual treatment:

  • Disinfection by immersion and cleaning with a brush
  • Chemical disinfection: 15 minutes with Stabimed 2% solution
  • Drying: not applicable

Mechanical treatment:

  • Mechanical alkaline cleaning with thermal disinfection
  • Thermal disinfection: 90°C for 5 minutes
  • Drying according to the program of the thermal disinfector (Digit 4 RDS Material)

Sterilization

Validated steam process:

  • Fractionated vacuum at 134°C
  • Holding time: 5 minutes

Technical note:

To prevent corrosion from friction, articulated instruments or those with metal surfaces subject to rubbing must be lubricated before each sterilization cycle.
