SCALPEL HANDLE - 135 mm

The 135 mm micro scalpel handle is a reusable surgical instrument designed to provide precision, ergonomics, and reliability in high-specialization procedures.

Featuring a round grip, it ensures a stable hold and optimal movement control, making it particularly suitable for interventions that require high accuracy.

Areas of application:

Indicated for ENT surgery, dentistry, neurosurgery, pediatric surgery, plastic surgery, spinal surgery, vascular surgery, maxillofacial surgery, cardiothoracic surgery, general/visceral surgery, and hand-foot surgery.

Cleaning and disinfection

Manual treatment:

  • Disinfection by immersion and cleaning with a brush.
  • The product must be disassembled before cleaning.
  • Chemical disinfection: 15 minutes with B. Braun Stabimed 2% solution.
  • Drying: not applicable.

Mechanical treatment:

  • Pre-manual cleaning with a brush.
  • Subsequent alkaline mechanical cleaning with thermal disinfection.
  • Thermal disinfection: 90°C for 5 minutes.
  • Drying: according to the program of the thermal disinfectant (Digit 4 RDS Material).

Sterilization

  • Validated steam process:
  • Fractionated vacuum at 134°C
  • Holding time: 5 minutes
  • Sterilizable both assembled and disassembled

Technical note:

To prevent corrosion from friction, instruments with joints or metal surfaces subject to wear must be lubricated before each sterilization cycle.
