It is a sterile calcium alginate dressing with carbossimetilcellulose in compressed or tape. It is used for treating moderately to severely exudatory skin lesions such as decubitate wounds, venous ulcers, diabetic ulcers, skin transplant sites and trauma wounds. A soft biocompatible gel that maintains an optimal wet microenvironment for healing. The exchange between exudate and dressing transforms the alginate into a soft gel that can be removed easily without leaving residues. The dressing is soft and conformable to provide maximum comfort for the patient.
