The Piuma UP4 mattress is designed with 20 interchangeable elements and a height of 20.3 cm, making it particularly suitable for patients at risk of pressure ulcers up to stage IV. Thanks to its unique structure and innovative technologies, the mattress offers excellent protection and optimal pressure management.

Structure and Operation of the Mattress

The first four elements operate statically, ideal for the head and ensuring lasting comfort during rest. The remaining part of the mattress is divided into 2 sections with alternating 2-way operation, promoting adequate blood circulation and preventing the risk of pressure ulcers.

High-Quality Materials: The mattress is made of Nylon+TPU, a waterproof, breathable, and biocompatible material that complies with European fire reaction regulations.

The padded cover is removable, with zippers on all sides, facilitating removal and cleaning.

The CELL-ON-CELL technique divides the mattress into individual modules: the lower module remains constantly inflated to avoid the risk of sinking and ensure safety in case of power interruption.

STATIC Function for Greater Versatility

The mattress includes the STATIC function, which allows locking the alternating system and using the mattress as a traditional static support, offering maximum comfort when the patient does not require the alternating functionality.
