Bubble Pressure Relief Mattress for Disabled and Elderly - Domus 1 (Levitas Line)
The Domus 1 Pressure Relief Mattress from the Levitas line is an essential aid for the prevention and treatment of stage one pressure ulcers. Designed to ensure maximum comfort and safety, this mattress is suitable for both hospital therapies and long-term home therapies, particularly for individuals with reduced mobility or those confined to bed for extended periods.
Features of the Pressure Relief Mattress
The Domus 1 pressure relief mattress is made from a highly durable material: medical PVC, ensuring maximum safety and durability. The mattress consists of 130 independent cells, 7 cm high, which provide even weight distribution and optimal pressure adjustment based on the patient's needs. Thanks to its design, the mattress is particularly comfortable, reducing pressure points and preventing the formation of pressure ulcers.
The structure of the mattress is completely washable, making maintenance simple and practical. The mattress is secured to the bed with flaps, ensuring a secure and stable hold.
Compressor and Pressure Adjustment
The compressor provided with the mattress is designed to control the alternation of the bubbles, creating a gentle massage effect that stimulates blood circulation and improves tissue oxygenation. The compressor allows for pressure adjustment based on the patient's weight, adapting to various therapeutic needs.
The uniqueness of this system is that the alternation of the bubbles ensures better blood circulation and effective prevention of pressure ulcers, reducing the risk of skin injuries during prolonged bed rest.
Placement and Use of the Pressure Relief Mattress
Installing the mattress is simple and intuitive. The mattress easily attaches to the bed using flaps. The compressor can be comfortably placed on the floor or on a flat surface. Additionally, it is equipped with two hooks that allow the compressor to be hung at the end of the bed, optimizing space and facilitating access.
How It Works: The Working Cycle
The Domus 1 pressure relief mattress periodically alternates the air cells, creating contact points on the skin that promote a light yet effective massage. This continuous cycle helps improve blood circulation, reduce pressure on tissues, and prevent the formation of pressure ulcers.
