Air Mattress: Composition and Features

The Domus2 mattress is made up of 20 individual PVC elements, each with a height of 9.5 cm. This structure allows it to perfectly adapt to the comfort and support needs of the patient, reducing pressure on critical body points and improving well-being during hospitalization. Each element is easily replaceable in case of breakage, thanks to the fastening buttons, and can be washed to ensure maximum hygiene.

How the Anti-Decubitus Mattress with Compressor Works

The mattress operates through an alternating inflation and deflation system, which occurs every 12 minutes. This movement creates a gentle massage effect on the contact points with the skin, improving blood circulation and preventing the formation of pressure ulcers. The alternation of pressure points reduces the risk of compression injuries, promoting good tissue oxygenation and regular blood flow.

The Domus2 compressor is designed to be quiet, so as not to disturb the patient's rest. The adjustment knob allows for easy pressure adaptation based on the patient's weight, with a weight indicator that helps select the right setting for optimal comfort. The compressor can be easily mounted on any bed thanks to the plastic hooks located on the back of the device, ensuring easy installation and effortless maintenance.
