The Dual Go! CP205 folding wheelchair is a versatile chair designed to enhance the mobility and independence of individuals with motor difficulties, both indoors and outdoors. This model from the Ardea line by Moretti, a leading company in the field of aids for the disabled, is intended for those who need a wheelchair that can easily adapt to different needs.

Main Features and Dimensions

The Dual Go! CP205 features a painted steel frame with a double cross structure, providing greater stability and strength. It is designed to be foldable, making it easy to transport and store when not in use. The folded size is only 25 cm, making it convenient to store, for example, in the trunk of a car.

Available in 7 seat sizes (38 cm, 40 cm, 43 cm, 45 cm, 46 cm, 48 cm, and 50 cm), the total width of the wheelchair varies depending on the seat size. For example, with a 38 cm seat, the total width (from wheel to wheel) is 52 cm, while with a 50 cm seat, the width reaches up to 64 cm.

Quick-Release Wheels and Convertible to Self-Propelled

One of the most innovative features of the Dual Go! CP205 model is the ability to easily convert it from a transit wheelchair to a self-propelled wheelchair. Thanks to the quick-release wheels, it is possible to reduce the size when the wheelchair needs to be stored or transported. Additionally, the presence of safety and anti-tip casters allows the wheels to be detached without moving the user from the chair.

When the wheelchair is used as a transit wheelchair, it can only be maneuvered by an attendant. However, by adding the transformation kit (composed of 60 cm rear wheels and two brakes), the wheelchair becomes self-propelled, allowing the user to move independently. The transformation kit is sold separately.

Adjustable Armrests and Removable Footrests

The Dual Go! CP205 is equipped with height-adjustable armrests, which can be raised or lowered to ensure the best ergonomics for the user. The armrests are semi-long, made of polyurethane, a robust and durable material. Additionally, they are foldable and removable with a simple gesture, thanks to the front release lever.

The removable footrests are adjustable in length, allowing them to adapt to the size of the user's legs. They feature black plastic footplates and a heel strap to ensure maximum safety and comfort. Chrome or painted elevating footrests can be purchased separately, particularly useful for keeping the legs elevated in case of casting, circulatory issues, or during the post-operative phase.

Materials and Comfort

The seat and backrest are made of padded black nylon, a durable and washable material that ensures comfort and longevity. The rear wheels have a diameter of 30 cm and are made of polyurethane (PU), a material that resists wear and abrasions, while the front wheels measure 20 cm in diameter.

This wheelchair is designed for ease of transport. Once the footrests and armrests are removed, it can be easily folded and transported, taking up minimal space due to its compact dimensions.
