The harness is a highly specialized support device, designed for the safe and comfortable lifting of patients who have suffered lower limb amputations, both mono and bilateral. This type of harness is particularly suitable for those who need to be raised and transferred safely, such as during the hospital or home care phases. The harness is an ideal solution to ensure that lifting takes place efficiently, preventing personal damage and optimizing user comfort.

Technical materials and features

The harness is made with an innovative fabric called Slipstex, which is 100% polyester composed. This material is highly resistant, guaranteeing a long life over time, and has highly slipping properties, which facilitate the positioning and lifting of the patient without difficulty. Furthermore, the anti-tape fabric ensures that the harness does not damage during use, even in stress or repeated lifting conditions. Its breathable nature minimizes sweating, improving comfort for the patient during prolonged use.

The structure of the harness is reinforced with a spiny polyester belt, which runs through the entire perimeter of the harness, increasing the overall resistance of the product. This belt, which is continuously stitched on the whole board, shape eyelets at the ends, creating different coupling points that allow us to uniformly distribute the weight during lifting. The main objective of this design is to guarantee the symmetry and safety of the patient, avoiding that the body is raised in an unbalanced way.

Safety and Comfort

The harness is equipped with two guide rings strategically positioned to facilitate the correct positioning of the patient's legs during lifting. These rings help maintain stable and safe patient posture, reducing the risk of involuntary movements that could cause damage or discomfort.

To ensure greater toughness and resistance, the stitching of the harness are made with a high-strength polyester wire, which resists wear and high loads. Furthermore, a soft padding is present both in the back area and thighs, offering comfortable support to the patient during lifting. This padding is designed to reduce pressure on sensitive points and to improve the comfort of the patient, even during periods of prolonged use.

Load capacity and certifications

The harness was designed to support a maximum load of 250 kg, guaranteeing safety even for higher weight patients. It has been rigorously tested by an accredited institution according to the UNI EN ISO 10535 technical standards standards, which regulates the safety and reliability of lifting devices for patients. This guarantees that the harness respects all the requirements necessary for safe use and compliant with international regulations.

IM150M (Medium) - for medium-sized patients
