The Escape DX folding electric wheelchair, belonging to the Ardea Mobility line of the Moretti brand, represents a modern and reliable solution for supporting the mobility of elderly people or with motor disabilities. Designed for those who need a practical, safe and performing aid, it combines robust structure, ease of use and great autonomy, guaranteeing a comfortable driving experience both inside and outside.

Equipped with a foldable aluminum frame, Escape DX is easy to fold up and carry. The use of resistant and light materials makes it easy to compromise the solidity of the structure. The chair stands out for the care of comfort: the backrest and the seat are made of high quality black nylon, with a 5 cm padded cushion integrated in the session, ideal for long uses. The presence of the safety belt helps maintain proper posture and reduces the risk of slipping.

Comfort and customizable safety

Among the main features of the Escape DX wheelchair stand out the armrests adjustable in height, tipper and extractable, which facilitate lateral transfer operations and increase accessibility. The footrest platforms are also adjustable in length and endowed with heel straps, for greater stability and safety during movement. An additional safety element is represented by rear anti-tipping wheels, designed to avoid dangerous overturns backwards, especially uphill or in case of brusque braking.

The control of the wheelchair takes place via a sensitive and intuitive joystick, adjustable in depth and can be installed on both the right and left side, depending on the user's preference. The VRI 50 AMP electronic controller ensures a fluid response to commands, improving driving experience.

High performance and long autonomy

From a technical point of view, the Escape DX is equipped with two 200w engines each, with a maximum speed of 6 km / h, and manages to maintain excellent performance even on slopes up to 10%, while the safety slope is 8 °. You can overcome small obstacles like high steps up to 5 cm without problems.

The wheelchair mounts two 12V 36AH batteries, which ensure a travel autonomy up to 32 km with one charge. Charging takes place via a 5A external charger, which can also be used for little expert users.

Versatile design for every need

The Escape DX is available in two versions of sitting width: 41 cm and 46 cm, to adapt to different physical conformations. The maximum bulk in width is 58 cm for the 41 cm session and 63 cm for the 46 cm one. When closed, the wheelchair reaches a lateral footprint of only 42 cm, which allows easy storage and transport even by car or environments with restricted spaces.

With a maximum capacity of 135 kg, this wheelchair is suitable for a wide range of users. It is also available in a version with integrated lights, ideal for those who want to move in total safety even in low visibility conditions.
