The BBRAUN Caresite® connector allows access to infusion systems without the use of needles, helping to reduce the risk of accidental punctures for healthcare professionals.
The device is activated by connecting a male Luer fitting and can be used for aspiration, injection, and administration of fluids. The positive displacement system is designed to limit blood reflux in the catheter and help reduce the risk of occlusions.
The transparent housing also facilitates visual inspection of the device during use.
