Thanks to its adjustable lighting, which includes both polarized and non-polarized modes, and the ability to select four brightness levels, this lens allows for superior visibility and more accurate diagnosis of skin lesions.

The DermLite Foto X offers the option to choose between polarized light and non-polarized light with the simple press of a button. The polarized mode is particularly useful for examining the deeper structures of the skin, such as vasculature and pigments, while the non-polarized mode is ideal for observing the skin surface. The ability to adjust the light intensity with four levels ensures perfect visibility in any situation, enhancing the quality of dermoscopic images.

Long-Lasting Battery with Charging During Use

One of the main innovations of the DermLite Foto X is its integrated lithium-ion battery, which offers autonomy comparable to previous models, but without the hassle of an external battery pack. Additionally, the lens can be charged during use, ensuring continuous operation at the three lowest brightness levels. This feature makes the Foto X particularly suitable for long examination sessions without interruptions.

Innovative Spacer Design for Quick Focus

The DermLite Foto X is equipped with a spacer designed to ensure quick and precise focusing. The removable snap-on glass front plate allows for contactless dermoscopy, minimizing pressure on the skin and improving image quality, especially during the examination of vascular structures. This is a significant advantage, as slight topical pressure could alter the appearance of lesions.

Compatibility with IceCap® for Safety

To further enhance infection control, the DermLite Foto X is compatible with IceCap®, the disposable covers that easily snap onto the spacer. These covers provide hygienic protection during the examination of skin lesions, reducing the risk of cross-contamination.

Versatility and Compatibility with Smartphones and Cameras

The DermLite Foto X is extremely versatile and can be used with any camera, smartphone, or iPad. It can be easily connected to the mobile device via MagnetiConnect® adapters, allowing for secure and quick magnetic attachment. Alternatively, the lens can be mounted via a standard 37 mm threaded connection, making it compatible with existing camera adapters.
