Histofreezer® – Cryotherapeutic Agent for the Treatment of Skin Lesions

Histofreezer® is an innovative cryotherapeutic agent that offers a quick and cost-effective treatment for the removal of skin lesions, such as warts, papillomas, and other benign formations. Thanks to its ease of application and portability, it is perfect for use in professional settings and for home treatments.

The treatment with Histofreezer® is based on the use of a cryogenic solution composed of dimethyl ether, propane and isobutane, which allows for temperatures as low as -55°C. When applied to the skin, it causes a rapid "freezing" of the treated area, followed by the detachment of the epidermis from the underlying tissues, facilitating the elimination of the viral lesion.

How Histofreezer® Works:

1. Preparation: Insert the nozzle into the canister.
2. Tip saturation: Press the button until some drops of liquid gas appear.
3. Wait for evaporation: After about 15 seconds, the gas evaporates, bringing the tip to a temperature of -55°C.
4. Application on the lesion: Place the tip on the lesion to be treated for a time ranging from 15 to 40 seconds, depending on the type and size of the lesion.

The Histofreezer® 2 mm Kit contains:

• One 80 ml canister of cryotherapeutic liquid.
• 52 applicators of 2 mm, ideal for treating small skin lesions, such as warts and papillomas.
