Reconditioning and sterilization

Manual cleaning:

  • Immersion with chemical disinfection for 15 minutes (e.g., B. Braun Stabimed 2% solution) with brushing.

Mechanical cleaning:

  • Alkaline washing with thermal disinfection at 90°C for 5 minutes according to the thermal disinfectant program.

Validated sterilization:

  • Fractionated steam under vacuum at 134°C with a holding time of 5 minutes.

Note:

  • To prevent friction corrosion, instruments with joints or metal surfaces in contact must be lubricated before each sterilization cycle.
