Cleaning and sterilization:

  • Manual cleaning: immersion and chemical disinfection with B. Braun Stabimed 2% solution for 15 minutes, followed by gentle brushing.
  • Mechanical cleaning: alkaline washing with thermal disinfection at 90 °C for 5 minutes, according to the Digit 4 program of the disinfectant.
  • Validated steam sterilization: fractional vacuum cycle at 134 °C, holding time 5 minutes.
  • Maintenance: lubricate joints and metal surfaces before each sterilization to prevent friction corrosion.
