Areas of application:

Indicated for dental and implant surgery, cardiothoracic, ENT, vascular, urological, spinal, plastic, pediatric, orthopedic/traumatology, neurosurgery, maxillofacial, hand-foot surgery, gynecology, and general/visceral surgery.

Cleaning and disinfection

Manual treatment:

• Disinfection by immersion and cleaning with a brush
• Chemical disinfection: 15 minutes with B. Braun Stabimed 2% solution
• Drying: not applicable

Mechanical treatment:

• Mechanical alkaline cleaning with thermal disinfection
• Thermal disinfection: 90°C for 5 minutes
• Drying: according to the program of the thermal disinfector (Digit 4 RDS Material)

Sterilization

Validated steam process:

• Fractionated vacuum at 134°C
• Holding time: 5 minutes

Technical note:

To prevent friction corrosion, instruments with joints or metal surfaces subject to friction must be lubricated before each sterilization cycle.
