The STEVENS dissecting curved scissors (tenotomies) with blunt tips are reusable surgical instruments designed to ensure control and safety during delicate procedures.

Areas of application:

Indicated for vascular, urological, ENT, general/visceral, orthopedic/traumatology, pediatric, neurosurgery, maxillofacial, hand-foot, gynecology, plastic, and spinal surgery.

Cleaning and disinfection

Manual treatment:

• Disinfection by immersion and cleaning with a brush
• Chemical disinfection: 15 minutes with B. Braun Stabimed 2% solution
• Drying: not applicable

Mechanical treatment:

• Mechanical alkaline cleaning with thermal disinfection
• Thermal disinfection: 90°C for 5 minutes
• Drying: according to the program of the thermal disinfectant (Digit 4 RDS Material)

Sterilization

Validated steam process:

• Fractionated vacuum at 134°C
• Holding time: 5 minutes

Technical note:

To prevent corrosion from friction, instruments with joints or metal surfaces subject to wear must be lubricated before each sterilization cycle.
