The 135 mm micro scalpel handle is a reusable surgical instrument designed to provide precision, ergonomics, and reliability in highly specialized procedures.

Areas of application:
Indicated for ENT surgery, dentistry, neurosurgery, pediatric surgery, plastic surgery, spinal surgery, vascular surgery, maxillofacial surgery, cardiothoracic surgery, general/visceral surgery, and hand-foot surgery.
Cleaning and disinfection
Manual treatment:
- Disinfection by immersion and cleaning with a brush.
- The product must be disassembled before cleaning.
- Chemical disinfection: 15 minutes with B. Braun Stabimed 2% solution.
- Drying: not applicable.
Mechanical treatment:
- Pre-manual cleaning with a brush.
- Subsequent alkaline mechanical cleaning with thermal disinfection.
- Thermal disinfection: 90°C for 5 minutes.
- Drying: according to the program of the thermal disinfectant (Digit 4 RDS Material).
Sterilization
- Validated steam process:
- Fractionated vacuum at 134°C
- Holding time: 5 minutes
- Sterilizable both assembled and disassembled
Technical note:
To prevent corrosion from friction, instruments with joints or metal surfaces subject to wear must be lubricated before each sterilization cycle.
