The Crile Hemostatic Forceps 140 mm Straight is a delicate surgical instrument designed for hemostasis and precise manipulation of small to medium-sized tissues and blood vessels during complex surgical procedures.

The greater length allows for deeper access and increased leverage compared to shorter models, while maintaining precision and control.

Areas of application:

ENT surgery, general and visceral surgery, gynecology, hand-foot surgery, cardio-thoracic, maxillofacial, neurosurgery, orthopedics and traumatology, pediatrics, plastic surgery, spinal surgery, urology, and vascular. Also indicated for dental procedures.

Reconditioning and sterilization

Manual cleaning:

Immersion with chemical disinfection for 15 minutes (e.g., B. Braun Stabimed 2% solution) with brushing.

Mechanical cleaning:

  • Alkaline washing with thermal disinfection at 90°C for 5 minutes according to the thermal disinfector program.

Validated sterilization:

  • Fractionated steam under vacuum at 134°C with a holding time of 5 minutes.

Note:

To prevent friction corrosion, articulated instruments or those with metal surfaces in contact must be lubricated before each sterilization cycle.
