Novosyn® 4/0 from Bbraun is an absorbable suture designed for delicate surgical procedures and optimal wound support. Made from a blend of polyglycolic acid and lactic acid (90/10), its braided and coated structure offers a medium absorption profile, ideal for ensuring excellent tissue healing.

Composition and Structure of the Thread

Novosyn® 4/0 is made with a multifilament structure, allowing for precise and smooth handling during suturing. The thread is coated with glycolic acid and lactic acid (35/65), reducing inflammatory response and optimizing the healing process.
